Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training is a 2-day workshop that focuses on maintaining the care, welfare, safety, and secuirty of both student and staff. This program was created by the Crisis Prevention Institute in Brookfield, Wisconsin, to focus on the management of disruptive, assaultive, or out-of-control behavior. This workshop involves physical participation as well as lecture format. Casual dress is appropriate and recommended.
