Research has established the effectiveness of using a positive behavioral approach to address the challenging behavior of children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Participants will learn:
- An overview of positive behavioral support process
- A step by step guide for utilizing positive behavioral strategies in the home
- How to generate positive intervention strategies based on the "function" of the child's behavior
- Specific examples of poisitve strategies for common challenging behaviors
