Forty-Hour Instructional Materials Professional Development

This professional development is designed for teachers who use the Hampton-Brown Edge program.  The purpose of the 5-day training is to provide participating teachers with interactive instruction in teaching the EDGE Reading, Writing, and Language program that is consistent with the California Reading/Language Arts Framework.

Edge is a systematic, focused, standards-based program for use with striving readers and English Learners.  It allows access to high school ELA standards with specialized instruction to build reading and writing power.
