An Introduction to Writing in the Primary
Grades to support ELA and ELD instruction
in Kindergarten Through Third Grade

This workshop will show participants how to use a variety of writing strategies to teach to all of the ELA domains (Reading, Writing, Language Conventions, and Listening/Speaking) and how to effectively scaffold and differentiate lessons for English Learners.

Among the strategies being referenced are Step Up to Writing, GLAD strategies for building sentences, and narrative writing from The Most Wonderful Writing Lessons Ever.
